Major Quanttative Research Methode
Definition
Quantitative research design: is a research approach that focuses on the collection and analysis of numerical data to test hypotheses, establish relationships between variables, and generalize findings to a broader population.
Variable : a person, group, place, thing, phenomenon
Purpose : Being measured and tested
Dependent Variable
presumed to be influenced by one or more independent variables (Test Score)
Independent Variable
stands alone and causes a change, manipulated, and changed by researchers. (Example: Age, gender, Teaching style, Amount of time driving, etc)
Naturalistic Observation Method
Observing in the real environment
Archival Data Method
Uses gathered information about the variables
Survey Method
Conducting a survey.
Experimental Research (Types of Quantitative Research)
The experimental research design is a “research method used to investigate the interaction between independent and dependent variables, which can be used to determine a cause-and-effect relationship”.
Correlation Research (Tyoes of Quantitative Research)
Relationship/correlation between two variables. Non-experimental type of quantitative research. It Observes and measures the relationship.
No Correlation
No correlation.
Negative Correlation
A relationship between two variables when the first variable is increased, the second variable will show a decrease. (One up, One down) - (Sleep and Fatigue)
Positive Correlation
A relationship between two variables when one increased variable leads to a rise in another variable. (Same)
Pre - experimental research
Quasi Experimental design
research design to identity the casual relationship between an independent and dependent variable
True experimental design
statistical approach to establishing a cause and effect relationship between variables.

Survey Research
(Types of Quantitative Research)
A method of collecting information by asking them questions and analyzing their responses.
Surveys According to Application Form
Face to Face, Via Phone, Via Email, Via The Internet
Data gathering
To Collect numerical data, large samples, and statistical analysis by using surveys and questionnaires, interviews, and existing data analysis
Data visualization
It helps people interact and understand better about the data by using charts, graphs, pictures, or maps to represent the data. (Pie Chart displaying Movie genre Popularity)
Data Analysis
Quantitative data analysis is the process of making sense of numerical data through mathematical calculations and statistical tests. It helps you identify patterns, relationships, and trends to make better decisions.
