Sects of Islam
Sunni- For Sunnis Quran is the literal word of God. After the prophet Muhammad died. The first khalif was Abu-bakr. Some group of muslims argued over Ali(his son in-law/cousin) that should have been the first khalif. But Sunnis, at the end believes what has happend, happend through god's plan.
Shia- believes that Muhammad's cousin or son in law should have been the first khalif and still considered Ali being the first khalif. Shia's mourn on the day karbala.
