The USSR was a very spacoius place and they did not like other ideas or poeple who are differrent coming in, one way they should this is the Iron curtain, they blocked of all capitalists poeple from coming in USSR. Another way they watched over people is controlling the radio and also thier television, so they cuold see what everybody was watching and listening to in the USSR.

The moon landing was a very special moment for the USA as it shows there advanced technology and it shows that thye can achive a lot, The moon landing was a space rase between USSR and USA, people often call it the "Space Race" it is when USSR and USA tried to get stuff in space first, example USA got the first man on the moon, USSR got the first animal in space.
Both the USA and USSR were fighting in the Space race, and they both had there own publicity stunts and how they watched over threre peopel, but still the conclusion is that they are doing some things right but in the wrong thing, The space race might have just been, who has more techonology and who can get more achivements in Mankind, But when USSR started watching everything that everybody was doing in the country then in my opinion that was way to far.

The Iron wall was created bu the soviet Union, and it was created to seal off itself and its dependent eastern and central europeans allies from open contact with the west and other non-communist contries. Kruchshev also wanted to promote himslef as " The next Starlin", he wanted to follow the path of Starlin but that is the thing rhat lost his reoutation of a leader

The Berlin Speach
This speah by JFK was a speach about protecting berlin form the communism from russia, In this speach he said that hw will protect Berlin from all of the communism and he also said that he is able to do this because he said that the USA was Free and also Protected by JFK
Both Kruchshev and JFK were trying to do completly different things, Kruchshev was trying to make an Iron curtian to stop and capitalists from comming in, and JFK was making sure the Berlin was protected so no communist thoughts or actions were controlling berlin, the charesmatic leadership is all bout trusting your leader and how the leaders are helping the USA or helping the USSR

The draft plays a very big part in the vietnam war and it was basically when USA needed people to work for them in the army and go to vientam and fight for them, this was a very big favour from USA because they were asking people to die for USA, but if people denied the request then it was the law that they would get a really big fine and also they would go to jail, I dont think this is one of USA's most proudest moments throught History.

Kruchshev triedto make people feel safe in USSR by telling them that the capitalist is even worse the comminusm and he was basically brainwashing peoplel of supporting him and never even to think about the other side, but if you even try to escape the iron curtian it is near to imposiblle to cross the walll
Both of the leaders had different Laws and policies amoung there countries but there are a lot of laws that are completly useless and horible that in the present time, those leaders would look like fools. But because this was in the past the poeple of both countries trusted and followed there leader throught this war

The Mcarthy accusations is basically when there was a man named Mcarthy and he made a list of people that were in the army the was communist and not capitilist. and he also made a list of people the he said that they might know who is a communist, an Example is that Disney was on the list for knowing who is a communist and they named a coupe of people and they got arrested
Muhammed Ali Draft
The Muhhamed Ali situation was when LBJ wanted to get people to fight for USA to go to vietnam and fight for them, Muhammed Ali was one of the people who was drafted, and he said that he would never fight for USA because of the way that he has been treated because he was a black person, and because f this he had to pay a big fine and also go to jail, this was an example to all people that if you dont eant to fight, this is what will happen to you

The Berlin wall
The Berlan wall was and idea by khrushchev himself and he created it because he wanted to prevent the West from having further influence on the east and also to stop the flow of migrants out of the communitst sector, as many of those fleeing were well educated and were needed in the East. In the end the Berlin wall was the most iconic image of the Cold war In Europe
The Staci
**The Staci is that they were the Police for the USSR and they looked over the berlin wall and patrolled the area, and they were the guards of the wall and not letting people go even near the wall
Both of the USA and USSR use Force and Terror a lot because htey both need to control there countries but sometimes htey are doing it in the wrong way
