How is it formed
Igneous Rocks are formed from the cooling of hot lava or magma that are from active volcanos. There are 2 types of igneous rocks: Intrusive and Extrusive. Extrusive igneous rocks cools much faster which makes the minerals crystalize faster which means only small amounts of crystals are viewed in an intrusive igneous rock. An intrusive igneous rock are magma that has slowly cooled which gave the crystal lots of time to form which is why most intrusive igneous rocks are filled with larger crystal that can be viewed.
