Visibility
A classroom with an organized structure will help a student with disability thrive. A cluttered environment can overwhelm a student with ADHD because their is so much to look at and focus on. Intentionally spaced desks can help encourage peer conversations if they are placed in groups which will help all students feel included a no one feel isolated.

Set rules and expectations makes sure that no student is surprised by what the teacher expects. Rules makes the classroom environment feel more structured which will help students with disabilities feel more comfortable.
Routine
Post schedule or agenda
Give notice in advance for absences and classroom guests
Outline break times in advance
Having a routine allows students who have disabilities know what to expect which will make learning an easier experience for them. Changes in routines that they are not prepared for can lead to outbursts of distress.
Reassurance
Model how peers should praise others
Be genuine, authentic, and specific
Use praise to encourage desired behavior
Praise academic and social tasks
When teachers resaure their students, they are showing their students how much they care. This is especially important for students with disabilities because they need to know their teacher cares about them and know that they are doing a good job completing work, communicating, stay focused, etc.
