1.4 Employability and communication
1.4.1 Communication skills
Interpersonal skills this is an person's ability to communicate with other people this isn't just verbal keep other forms in mind.
Verbal communication this can be formal and informal language this is your tone and language mainly.
Questioning techniques there is three types closed questions are direct and set answers. There is open questions these are open ended and gives multiple choices on how to answer the question. Then there are bad leading questions that have the answer in the question.
Written communication has two types formal and informal, informal is is letters and these have to be in line with what the company needs it to be composed like. Informal is text and is not expected to have a set layout by the company.
Barriers to communication these are simple these are
ANYTHING
that hinders communication.

1.4.3 Personal attributes
Self motivation this is the ability to produce high quality no matter what is going on
Leadership this is a persons an ability to gain the respect of their team and lead them using it.
Respect is what a person should show people that are working there and customers.
Dependability is being able to rely on the employees to get their work done that they are in charge of doing.
Punctuality this is being able to show up on time and showing a commitment to their job.
Problem solving this is an employee instead of referring to higher management for answers solving it themselves.
Determination this is a workers ability to stay focused and prepared for their job role.
Independence this is like problem solving when they deal with their problems by themselves.
Time management this is about getting work done in timely fashion and on schedule.
Team working is about the interpersonal skills between a team and their ability to work together.
Numerical skill is the ability to work with numbers and is important in things like spreadsheets.
Verbal skills is your ability to communicate in a verbal way.
Planning and organisation this is making sure that all deadlines are met and is about careful planning and being well organised.
1.4.4 ready for work
A dress code shows policy can show an employees commitment and investment in their job by gaging their commitment to the job.
Presentation this is about showing respect and this can be done through good personal hygiene because it will show respect to the company.
Attitude is maintaining a positive attitude and will help in getting liked by your peers.
1.4.5 Job roles
A network manager has to have strong leadership and set out their vision and be able to motivate and encourage employees. They are senior staff and must be good under pressure making them dependable and decisive.
IT technicians need to have to have good interpersonal skills, have good questioning methods, experience in trouble shooting and be respectful, determined and self motivated.
A programmer needs to know specific programming languages, they need good problem solving, good organisation, good patience and good interpersonal skills.
Web designers web designers need to create plans, have good technical knowledge and be responsible for their web sites.
An animator needs to be good with digital and hand drawn images, they need to be able to use art and modelling software and keep deadlines.
