China Being Overlooked In World War 2
The War Beginning
Japan invaded China in 1931
starting conflict between them
The fighting then escalated into a war in 1937
Japan committed countless war crimes against China
Japan and China fought many battles. One of the main battles in this war is the Nanking Massacre
Nanking Massacre- Japan gave the citizens 24 hours to surrender and when they didn't surrender, Japan invaded the city and killed a lot of people
It took 3-4 years before anyone helped China fight Japan
The U.S. only started to help in 1940-1941
The U.S. helped China by extending credits to purchase war supplies. They also started to restrict Japan.
The U.S. felt that China wasn't vital enough to go into a full blow war with Japan
China was weaker and poorer
China was still able to be of help, but they couldn't make as much of a difference.
China couldn't make as much of a difference because they couldn't get as many weapons or a reliable weapons
China also wasn't as strong which means they couldn't put up as much of a fight as other countries that were apart of the allies
Limited awareness
The Allies did recognize China's role, but that recognition didn't get spread to everyone else
The Western countries didn’t understand the role China had in World War 2
The Western countries didn't view them as a major role because China didn't have as many resources to work with
China had less resources
Specifically didn't have as many resources as the other members of the Allies
This made it seem to everyone else that they weren't doing as much to contribute
The Main resources that China lacked include: nonferrous metals and explosives

Countries in the allies didn't share the same main goals
The U.S. and Britain's main goal was to defeat Germany than defeat Japan
China's main goal was to gain international support to defeat Japan
China didn't have as many Technical Advancements
This means China wouldn't get as much recognition for a technical advancement
Some countries during War only get recognized because they made a technical advancement
Some examples of countries who made technical advancements in World War 2 include: Great Britain, Germany, the United States, and Japan.
