And Then There Were None
by Agatha Christie
Themes
Morality
Challenging Concepts
A lot of the characters had difficulties maintaining their sanity as more people started dying around them
Connection:
In The Stranger, one of the characters was mentally unstable which is similar to how Judge Margrave was crazy and how the characters drove themselves insane because of their guilt and fear.
The novel was written such a long time ago that the language and style felt outdated.
It was difficult to understand how different characters died
There were so many characters that it was hard to distinguish one from the other.
Connection:
In Never Let Me Go, one of the themes present in the novel is ethics. This is similar to how the topic of mortality is conveyed in And Then There Were None

Justice Wargrave
Immorality: His actions involve premeditated murder, make himself a killer and murderer.
