⚡Electricity⚡
Is a form of energy that lets negative charge particles move from one atom to another.
Conductors
Materials that let electric current flow through them.
Insulators
Materials that do not let electric current flow throgh them.
Electric circuits
Interconnected components that an electric current flows throught to produce an effect
Closed
Open
Short circuits: Occurs when the electric current is transported by the wires whithout passing through a load device
Symbols
Wire
Lamp
One-way switch
We represent electrical circuits whit a very simple drawing called an electrical schematic. All components have a standardised symbol
Ohm´s law
Fornula:
Resistance: The opposition to the flow of elctric current.
Voltage: The difference in the charge between two points, which makes the electrons moves
Current: The intensity of the current or the amount of elctrons flowing through a conductor over a certain time.
Types of circuits
Series circuits: All the components are connected one after the other.
Parallel circuits: The load devices are connected on different branches of the wire.
Series-parallel combination circuits: Contain devices connected in series and in parallel.
