Apply Nudge
Promotion of before and after images, facebook and instagram
Replacement
Just replace the littered area with something beautiful – painting, flower pots, trees, slogans, nudges etc
Increase the number of waste bins
People cannot find a nearby trash
Enforce anti-littering laws
Imposing fines or penalties on individuals caught littering.
Implement behavior-based interventions
Leverage human psychology to encourage desired behaviors.
Community cleanup events
Foster a sense of ownership and pride in the local environment.
