Children of compulsory school-age cannot work during school hours
Compulsory school-age defined as 6 -16 under the Education and Children's Services Act 2019
If you are under 11, it is against the law for someone to allow or require you to sell things in a public place (such as street markets)
Children cannot work before 6am or after 10pm
They must not be asked to perform work that will, or likely harm their physical, mental, or emotional well-being
