Factors Influencing Learning / Motives and Goals, Reflection:

Reflection:
A memory strategy that I use is reading the text I want to memorize, cover it with my hand and repeat it out loud. When I want to learn something I take notes. I study for tests by revisiting my notes and the slides from class.
My relationship with my learning environment is good. My professors and peers are both very helpful when I have questions relating to a topic or class. My relationship with the university is also a positive one since there are many resources and spaces that I can use. There are also learning communities in the university such as the library and study rooms.
My job is very flexible so it fits well with my schedule. However, it does get difficult balancing my school life with my work life when a bunch of assignments and tests are coming up. My strategy for managing any constraints is when I finish my work at my job, I use the computer to complete some of my assignments, that way I can get more work done.
I believe I am more extrinsically motivated and usually do things for an outcome I am satisfied with. For example, I study to achieve a high score on my exams and not because I purely enjoy the act of studying. Another example is working out. I work out to achieve the body that I want and not because I enjoy working out. This impacts my life because I feel more motivated since there's a possibility that I cannot achieve what I want.
