Managing Diversity in Terms of the Ethical, Legal, and Media Marketing…
Managing Diversity in Terms of the Ethical, Legal, and Media Marketing Issues.
Legal
On behalf of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title VII, workplace diversity is protected by making it illegal to discriminate against someone based on their race, religion, sex, national origin, or sexual orientation.
Employers must comply with laws and failure to do so will result in lawsuits, fines, or other civil causes of action for unfair and unlawful employment practices.
Federal, state, and local laws encourage diversity for promotion of a more integrated and respectful work environment.
Media Marketing
Media companies are bound to challenge stereotypes to provide an accurate portrayal of the world by diversity inclusion. This way, the ways of life and different parts of the world can be viewed in real-time.
Social media outlets build diversity by providing individuals from marginalized backgrounds with a platform to share their stories, experiences, and perspectives of life with a wider audience.
A diverse staff of producers, managers, and editors can conjoin creative thoughts and innovative ideas to reach new audiences, challenge assumptions, and help build trust and credibility.
Ethical
Pertains to the range of human differences involving race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, social class, and religious or ethical values.
Workplaces should encourage members to interact through explaining the work culture to new employees and promoting gender diversity in hiring.
-
Ethical diversity is represented by diverse beliefs on what are appropriate and inappropriate courses of action.
-
Eliminate unfair and inappropriate barriers and refrain from making judgements based on equity and/or merit.

Thoughts?
Since social media is very popular in today's generation, it can easily place a toxic void upon our social lives and increase cyberbullying amongst our peers. However, we're able to view the way other people who may not look like us see life and their perspectives on specific topics. We can learn from people whether it is up-front and center or through social media. It is an outlet that grants us access to places we cannot physically be in at the given moment or time. Which in this scenario and topic, social media serves a greater purpose. Especially for those who feel they do not have a voice or cannot be themselves in physical environments or surrounded by non-single-minded people.
Though employers are aware of the laws and legal matters taken to enforce fair and lawful hiring practices, the inappropriateness within their ethical behaviors shows how social class and non-inclusiveness actually matters. Companies prefer homogeneous workplaces to "look the part" or the desire to align their employees.
