Open circuit
Circuit status: Off: thr lamp isn´t lit. The electric current doesn´t flow.
Closed Circuits
Circuit status: On: the lamp is light. The electric current flows and reaches the lam to light it.
Short Circuits
Occcurs when the electric current is transported by th wires without passing through a load device.

Electricity:
form of energy that lets negatively charged particles (electrons) move from one athom to another.
Electric current is the flow of electrons from one atom to another inside a conductive material.

Materials that let electric current flow through them
Examples: Cooper, tin, aluminium ...
Insulators
Materials that don´t let electricity current flow through them
Examples: Wood, plastic, cardboard...

Voltage ( or potential difference )
Resistance
I=V/R
This equation is known a Ohm´s law, which states:
´´ The current in a circuit is directly proportional to the electric potential difference impressed across its ends and inversely proportinal to the total resistance offered y the external circuit´´
