The design philosophy for my space is to provide a creative and innovative environment. Each station is different and has room for students to express their creativity. I want my students to be expressing themselves creatively while also learning.
K.V.3.1 Use a variety of tools safely and appropriately to create art.
This station will include paint and brushes to use, and canvases or objects to paint on.
This station will contain paper with different designs, as well as instructions on how to make different pieces of origami.
This station will come with fossil kits and the tools needed to unveil them. These kits can be slowly dissolved by water and tools to reveal a fossil,
This station will include props, costumes, and paper for students to create their own script. They will be able to create their own play.
This station will contain fabric, yarn, sewing, crochet, and knitting supplies. Students will be able to make their creations using the tools whether it be clothes, blankets, stuffed animals, etc.
This standard can be related to the stations as most of them use a variety of materials to create some form of art.
