Charlie I'm Charlie, and my journey into television began unexpectedly in 2011 when I volunteered for the Americas Cup and instantly fell in love with the industry. Spending eight enriching years at Sky, I immersed myself in Multi-sport and later specialized in Sky Sports Golf. Relocating to Singapore, I contributed to the Asian Tour as a Sub-mix Director/Director before venturing into entrepreneurship with my own venture, Media Trails.
As a freelance Match & Pres Director, I've had the privilege of working with renowned entities like Sky, IMG, ITV, F1, and The LET, directing some of the globe's most prominent sporting events. In 2022, my collaboration with Burwood Broadcast on the Head of the River Race laid the groundwork for Nimblecast.
I vividly recall my initial encounter with a live gallery in a television truck—it was a defining moment that affirmed my passion for directing. The thrill of managing multiple voices and delivering in real-time environments continues to fuel my enthusiasm for this dynamic field. Directing is not just a job; it's my calling, and I couldn't envision myself doing anything else.
