INSTALLATION OF METAL DOOR FRAME AND TIMBER DOOR LEAF
METAL DOOR FRAME
For this installation, we're using four and a half inch hinge, an a strike type and both regular arm and parallel arm closer reinforcements.
3.Adjust the frame properly to the floor conditions so that the doors will not drag the floor when installation of the frame is complete.
4.In this installation, the frame is pre welded. The most important tab connection is at the rabbeted part of the frame and those tabs should be bent in an outward position
Install base anchors to the frame using screws provided. This bar is not to be used as a spreader bar to set the frame.
Stand the frame up in the wall line at the proposed location. Using a proper sized spreader, place it between the hinge and strike jams at the floor.
Anchor the base anchors to the floor on each jamb using a concrete screw or drive pin type anchor .
Place another spreader in between the hinge and strike jams for keeping the frame straight and in alignment.
Move the studding in place and begin screwing the studs to the track at the bottom. Install screws on each side of the stud. Proceed with securing the studs against each jamb to the top steel stud plate.
Locate the frame at the door opening location and compare the handing and size of frame to the drawing.
Once the dimension is verified, the remain of the frame anchor can be screwed to the stud with a minimum of two screws
Bend the anchor ear around the stud to hold the anchor in place. Attach the anchor to the stud with the screws provided.
TIMBER DOOR LEAF
Fastening the door, the 4mm ease, the gap of the opening is fixed
Attaching sealed covers, using a plastic hammer, the threshold is inserted into the frame housing
Installation of door accessories which is door lock and handle.
Mounting the door frame, on the frame the hinges are mounted in the frame in the direction required.
Opening the lock by measuring the lock tab, the corresponding device is mounted, holding the door open
Mounting the hinge, leaving a space of 20cm from the top and bottom
