Ms. Spivey's Classroom Innovation Lab
The design philosophy behind my space is to allow students to be creative, collaborative, and make their own choices. I want students to be engaged and excited with the projects they do in my class.
Standard:
1.C.2 Use performance to communicate ideas and feelings.
1.C.2.1 Use improvisation to communicate activities in a variety of situations.
1.C.2.2 Use dramatic play to perform stories while texts are read aloud.

Build- It Station
This station will allow students to build new things or take apart things that are already built. It will allow students to be creative and do things on their own with their ideas. This station would be used during centers for constructive play.
Digital Information Communication Station
In this station students will have access to their iPads. On their Ipads, students will have access to apps and the internet. With that students can design, collaborate, and research different things.
Junk Bin Station
In the Junk Bin Station, students will have access to recyclable things. This allows students to be creative with everyday things in the enviroment.
This allows students to be creative with their imagination while also relating it back to what they may be learning about. (police or firefighter) They can take on their own perspective on a certain "job".
Dress-Up Station
This station will allow students to create or retell stories they have learned about in a collaborative way. They can have several different choices for example auditory or images.
