What is the Univers?

Dark matter -a component of the universe whose presence is discerned from its gravitational attraction rather than its luminosity.
Big bang theory - It is the idea that the universe began as just a single point, then expanded and stretched to grow as large as it is right now.

Black hole - cosmic body of extremely intense gravity from which nothing, not even light, can escape.
Neutron star - rapidly spinning neutron star that gives off a beam of radio waves or other radiation.
Red supergiant - the star swells and heats up. Througt nuclear reaction, a heavy core of iron is formed

Protostar - has a dense, geseuos core surrounded by a cloud of dust
Small star
Red giant- the star continues to expand, but its mass remains constant and its core heats ups.
Planetary nebula -is a region of cosmic gas and dust formed from the cast-off outer layers of a dying star.

White dwarf the remains of the Red giant, in which the fusion of carbon and oxygen has ceased, lie at the center of the nebula.
