Background
Aristotle learned about the universe from Plato. Aristotle left Plato to take a scientific approach to human behavior, natural philosophy, natural science, etc.. He became Plato's most famous student. Eventually, he opened his school in Athens.
Philosophical Belief
He believed everything in the world could be explained.
He believed that human behavior could be scientifically understood.
Impact
He is most known for being a
teacher of logic. Syllogism is
his system of logic. He established
the earth as being sphere-like.

He believed that by finding the false
hoods of thing one can make a truthful
conclusion about things.
Impact
He created the Socratic method
a method of cross examination.

He worked with his father as a from a young age.
Which put him in the circle of the people who were
part of the intellectual community. He was a heavy
infantry man during the Peloponnesian war. Named the
wisest man in Greece.

Background
He had a good education as a youth. He became a stundent of Socrates in 409. He wanted to become part of the government but because Sacotes was sentenced to death by the government he was turned away. Created his own school
Philosophical Belief
He believed that our souls were the source of our moral character. He thought that human reason should be perfected for our souls. He believed humans senses were faulty in and believed that some things can always be mathematically proven.
