Position Time Graphs ; A position-time graph shows an object's displacement at different points in time, illustrating a visual representation of its motion.
Graph shape indicating motion (Example ; linear).
Area representing displacement.
Slope indicating velocity (positive for rightward, negative for leftward, zero for no motion).
Next-x ; Next-x refers to the value of the variable x in a sequence, indicating the value that comes after the current value of x.
Each value could be greater or less than the previous value following the sequence rule.
Values follow a pattern.
Sequence : Values are arranged in alphabetical or numerical order.
Verbal Representations : Verbal representation is explaining information or ideas using verbal or written words rather than through visual or numerical means.
Expressing the magnitude of the object's position, velocity, and time.
Emphasis on direction. (Example ; Left, Right, North, South).
Description of the object's motion.
Motion Maps ; A visual representation that shows the position of an object at different points in time, using symbols like dots or arrows to show its motion.
Dots : The position of an object at specific points in time, showing its path.
Time intervals : Evenly spaced horizontally, and positions vertically aligned for easy comparison.
Arrows : The direction and magnitude of an object's motion. (Longer the arrow, the faster.) (Shorter the arrow, the slower.)
