Constant Velocity
Position Time Graphs
Concepts: A position time graph determines the relationship between an objects time and position.
Conventions: The line demonstrates the increase in position and the line also shows the slope which is the velocity.
Defintion: If a position time graph has a straight line then it is a Constant Velocity. If not then it is not CV. The steeper the line is then the objects motion is faster
Motion Maps
Definition: The velocity of an object can inform us by the space between the dots.
Concepts: A motion map determines the objects position, velocity and at different delta-t's.
Conventions: Arrows demonstrate the direction the object is moving in. The dots represent the position of where the object was at, at that time.
next-x
Conventions: The formulaa for next-x is next-x :: Number -> Number
Which is next-x consumes current position and produces next position
Definition: We can find out the future positions by possessing the velocity, delta-t and inital position thus it leading it to be next-x.
Concepts: The next-x function produces the next position based on using the parameters (current position and the velocity of the object)
Verbal Representation
Describing information from information which is given
Depicting a conclusion out of an informational way such as graphs or tables
Verbal representation is where an individual uses words to describes the objects motion
