God told Moses to lead the enslaved Israelites out of Egypt, and he lead them through the Sinai peninsula, and to the Israel area.
Many Israelites and Abraham moved into Canaan. Many moved to Egypt. The Israelites population in Egypt skyrocketed, which caused The Pharaoh, out of fear to enslave them.

When the Philistines tried invading, the Israelites banded together under the leadership of their first king, Saul. He had military success, but not everyone was on board with him.
When Saul died, a very liked leader became kind, David, and he defeated the Philistines and won many battles.
When David died, his son Solomon became king. He made allies with many powerful neighbors, making them rich. He also expanded the empire.

After Solomon died, revolts broke out, Israel split in 2. The Diaspora caused them to move to many parts of the world such as Canaan and Europe.

Romans allowed many religions to be worshiped, but they didn't like Judaism when the Jews tried to rebel many many times.
New Testament = Christianity, Jesus, History of Christianity, beliefs, etc.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem (just south of Jerusalem, but it's in Palestine.)

Christians believe Jesus' mother was names Mary, and his father was God.
Jesus grew up in Nazareth, and was taught Jewish teachings.
Jesus went around to teach religion, and wherever he went he created excitement.
