By helping the organizations, Caritas helps the country can gain international recognition, shining light on the horrondus past.
As more countries become aware of them, they can develop there trading, improving the country's economic situation.
As the trading companies grow to accommodate larger demand, there will be more jobs available for the citivins of Timor-Leste
More people will be employed, gaining money and leaving poverty behind
With larger income, they will be able to increase their employees pay, helping them out of poverty.
They can increase the quality of their goods, therefore becoming in higher demand and increase their prices, therefore improving their economic situation and continuing the cycle.
They can gain more donations for improving their infrastructure - roads, buildings, houses, farmland, etc.
Timor-Leste will become a safer, nicer place to live.
The country will spend less money improving the infrastructure, and therefore use this money to help those in poverty, by building free houses, funding organizations (such as shelters or food banks) that help those in poverty, creating more jobs, and/or giving the money away to those who need it most.
The people of Timor-Leste learn invaluable skills and information.
The people can work in their government, using this skill and information to help society nationally, promoting peace and equality.
The country becomes a better safer place to live
People can make their own business or work for someone's else business, utilizing the new skills and information and therefore being paid more
They can make their own money, and be able to afford the necessary resources such as food, water and a house
They will no longer be in poverty
The people could teach others these skills and knowledge
As more and more people learn, the country as a whole can create more organizations, create more job opportunities, create more schools and help more people out of poverty
The country begins to prosper, and therefore can be independent and defend itself, no longer requiring other countries to support them. Additionally, the knowledge they have of the past can ensure that nothing like that ever happens again.
The people may be grateful for the help and support provided by Caritas, and want to join Caritas to help others around the world, like they did for them.
