Environment
Immersion
-
Lots of explosions, looks like a huge battle is taking place and the player is only a small part of the battle

Alien Planet

Minimal life, dead trees, a few plants

Audio
War
I would like distant sounds of war to be heard throughout the game. E.g. explosions in the distance and gun shots. This is because it can immers the player in the game and make it feel 'grand' and 'epic'
Weapons
The weapons will make noises as weapons in games are cosndiered acceptable and good by an audience if they give them the correct feedback. E.g. gun makes a sound when the player inputs the command to make it shoot.
Character
The character will make noises. These noises will be based around a hovering noise of a robot being lifted up by jet thrusters. This is because my character will hover off of the ground. It will also make noises if it is damaged.
Audience
The target audeicne for my game will be 15 - 24 year olds. This is because the game is violent so it may not be appropirate for younger ages. As well as that it will be for 15 - 24 as people in these ages are more likely to play video games compared to other ages.

Characters
Non-playable character
-
The NPCs will come in different forms. I would want to create 3 NPCs as the aliens are attacking so there could be different 'classes' of aliens which try and attack you. For example there could be a strong one and a weak one.
Main character
My main character would be a robot. This is because the planet where the game will take place is considered toxic to living beings and only robots and the natives of the planet can survive on it due to the toxic air
Levels
Difficutly
Each round the game will get progressivly more difficult as more enemies will spawn in as the rounds go on.
Each round / level enemies will spawn in and it is the player's objective to protect / defend the base and to stay alive

Platform
Computer as I believe it would be easy to create a game with computers as they can have much more intensive graphics.
Assets
I can use assets to create my game as it will allow me to save time. If I were to use assets, using a First Person Gun system would save be a lot of time and I would consider using one as I have only been given a short time to create this project, thus using assets can save time.
