Should Christianity play a part in public life?, What is meant by public…
-
-
YES, it may help instil values that are beneficial for society such as to be loving and caring as well as helping keep society order by morally emphasising that one should not steal or kill

Leslie Francis: more evidence that young Christians are more open to people from other religious backgrounds - creates a more positive attitude towards religious diversity in Church schools

No in countries that have many different religions, having governments made decisions/laws around one religion would be discriminating of other religions - either public life needs to reflect all religions or no religions
Christianity should only be part of public life if it proportionally affects the majority of people living in a country - if Christianity is not a majority religion it should not be a part of public life.
