TOPICAL DRUGS
MACHANISM OF ACTION
b) works on reducing inflammation in the nasal passages which helps to relieve symptoms such as stuffiness, runny nose, as well as sneezing.
c)contains active ingredient Ciprofloxacin which is an antibiotic that works in stopping the reproduction of bacteria, it does not interfere with enzymes that bacteria need to make new DNA.
a) it kills bacteria and prevent infection used to treat most of skin infection like impetigo, cellulits and skin abscesses
INDICATIONS
a) treats skin infection like impetigo, cellulitis and wound infection. these infections are caused by bacteria on skin's surface, this antibiotic helps clear up the infection.
b) used for treatment/treating allergic reactions, allergic rhinitis that causes symptoms such sneezing, itchy nose, nasal congestion and runny nose. non-rhinitis that cause same symptoms but not caused by allergies.
c) it is used to treat a lot of ophthalmic conditions such as glaucoma, it reduces the pressure in the eyes which usually prevents loss of vision. in ocular hypertension it prevents in the affected eye from becoming too high.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
c) tablet stored at room temp of 20-25 degrees celsius, IVI stored in refrigirator in 36-46 degrees celsius

a) they are stable for 2 years when stored at room temp, they should be kept away from heat/sunlight and keep out of reach of children.
SIDE EFFECTS
c) insomnia, nausea, headache, diarrhea and dizziness these symptoms are mild and can disapper their own. the serious side effects mabe be rash .
b) side effects maybe irritation, dry mouth, cough, nosebleed and headache
a) side effects may be burning, stinging and skin peeling. in rare cases may be allergic reaction like rash.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
b) this drug should not be used in patients with known allergy to any of ingredients of this drug, not used to patients with nasal ulcers or nosebleed, not used to patients with glaucoma, cataracts or other eye problem because it may cause other eye problem.
c) not used to patients who are allergic to ciprofloxacin or any other fluoroquinolon and who have history of tendon rupture/ tendonitis
a) not used to patients who are allergic to the antibiotics, not used to patients with history of severe skin reaction and with open wounds/ulcer on skin as it can increase risk of infection
