Why?
Federation happend and made Australia a country.
Australia federated so more people could come to it and so more people had jobs
Federation happened so that the army and defence was stronger, transport was easyer and so people could see each other.

Sir Henry Parks
Sir henry parks helped federation and is called The Father of Federation
Sir Henry parks wanted Australia to be a country so he protested.
Edmond barton
He was the first president and he was the first to be in charge
Edmond was a person that others looked up to.
