STORYLINE
Victor and Elizabeth get married - depart, by boat, on the first leg of their journey. The boat lands on the shore of Evian, where they are to spend the night.
Elizabeth is murdered by being strangled. - The monster is responsible.

She becomes a devoted daughter and sister.
Elizabeth is an orphan child whom the Frankensteins adopt.
COMPANIONSHIP
Relationship - 1st cousins
Very intimate, to the brink of over-possessive. He demonstrates an innate association of 'ownership' towards Elizabeth. His intense fondness for Elizabeth is due to the prior lack of companionship during his childhood.
Though her blood relation to Victor Frankenstein varies between versions of the novel, she is his adopted sister and eventually becomes his wife.
