Although these stories have been influential since their discovery in 17th-century Europe, in recent years Norse narratives have exploded across fiction, Hollywood blockbusters, rock albums, opera, video games and TV shows – these are just a few of the cultural spheres in which Norse myths have been put to work.
The stories that make up what is known today as Norse mythology once informed the religious beliefs of the people of regions including Scandinavia and Iceland. To the Norse, the world was an enchanted place of gods, spirits, and other entities that needed to be honored to maintain personal and communal balance
Games/media
Norse mythology has had a significant influence on popular culture, particularly in the realm of video games. Many video games have been inspired by Norse mythology, incorporating characters, creatures, and elements from Norse myth into their storylines and gameplay
A prominent example would be Marvel, featuring the entire lineup of gods, realms and stories in a fully immersed adaptation
Setting
Norse, Nordic, or Scandinavian mythology, is the body of myths belonging to the North Germanic peoples, stemming from Old Norse religion and continuing after the Christianization of Scandinavia, and into the Nordic folklore of the modern period.
Asgard
According to the myths, Asgard is located in the heavens; however, this was considered more a spiritual concept than a physical one. According to certain translations of Norse poems, Asgard is located in the center of the world. However, there are varying opinions regarding what realms were within the world itself.

The most notable game series set around the greek mythology is "God of war" featuring a whole new character with specific relations to characters from the mythology
Setting
It is difficult to know when Greek mythology started, as it is believed to have stemmed from centuries of oral tradition. It is likely that Greek myths evolved from stories told in the Minoan civilization of Crete, which flourished from about 3000 to 1100 BCE.
Mount Olympus
In Greek mythology, Mount Olympus was regarded as the abode of the gods and the site of the throne of Zeus. The name Olympus was used for several other mountains as well as hills, villages, and mythical personages in Greece and Asia Minor.

Impact
The impact greek mythology had was influential, affecting mainly literature above all else. The characters have been inspiration sources for not only many artistic designs, but games and literature that feature characters set within a greek timeline.
Like most other myths, they exist to teach valuable moral lessons to people, despite the drastic change in humanities behaviour towards mankind, there are still lessons to be found even today.
