Competition Levels
If the species has a larger competition levels it means that it is less likely to survive as it will be more prone to being hunted down by prey. Which therefore causes a decrease in their population.
Migrants

Barriers during the journey can prevent them from reaching their destination (eg salmon swimming upstream)
Level of threat
There are many different types of threats ranging from competition level, habitat loss, food and water availability for it, climate change, pollution
If the level of threat is high the species is most likely not going to survive or be able to reproduce as well.
Dispersal Potential
Dispersal potential refers to the movement of individual organisms from their birthplace to other locations for breeding.
