Constant Velocity

Position Vs Time Graph
-
A straight line graph has the general form:(y=mx+b) where (m) is the slope defined as the change in position divide by the change in time (b) is the y-intercept, where the line crosses the vertical axis

Motion Maps
The direcction of movement can be indicated with arrows or simply the orientation of the dotted line. For example, if the points move from left to right, this indicates that the object is moving to the right
The reference point is the point where the object begins to move on a motion map. This is usually a large dot or a different symbol
These represent the position of the object at different moments in time. In a constant velocity motion map, these points are evenly spaced, since the object moves the same distance at each time interval
Verbal Representation

When drawing water from a well with a pulley, if the speed of the rope is constant
A person walking down street at a constant speed, covering the same distance in each time interval
