Prepare the talk
Prepare script and visual aids using creative programs to organize your talk in the form of a presentation
Prepare a large printout of the content to help memorize the presentation material
Focus on the flow of the presentation, transitions, and other quotations
Organize your talk
Organize the introduction: Title, overview of talk, background, purpose, conclusion, supporting points.
Identify the purpose and message of the presentation
Pickout the most important figure from the core slide
Prepare an overview slide to wrap up all information that was said
Question and Answer
Ensure you are confident but still polite and calm
Be courteous, answer questions fully and to the audience, admit when you are unsure of an answer to a question
Don't allow the audience to interrupt your presentation, and do not argue.
Remote Presentations
Same rules apply for unperson and remote presentations
Dress well, use more visuals, and use text that's legible
Engage in your audience and check for questions
Designing effective slides
Think about the graphics. Readers prefer visuals over text
Make the slides attractive, simple, clear, and font
Give figures and tables a title but no legend, caption, and get rid of clutter
