Columbina: Columbina is very playful and cunning. She knows what to do with money. She can hold an academic discourse on love, men, marriage and life.

First actress: She and the first actor are aristocrats and like to do very grand things.
They love to take up a lot of space because they think they own it and they are serious.
They are also serious, dangerous and are lovers. They both are quite capable of killing.
Both play roles of politics at the time in Italy.

The doctor: The doctor likes to learn things and also know about everything but he cannot understand things.
He is filled with knowledge that he cannot contain what he has to say and his excitement.

The character Zanni is a peasant that enters the city and i very excited and suprised about the city.
He is very enthusiastic.
Zanni wants to please everyone.
Zanni is Magnificos servent.

Magnifico: He mostly looks down on everyone and everything.
His mask is shaped like an eagle.
If a Magnifico dies, another Magnifico will take his position. (Referring to acting)
His movements are mostly like a pigeon.
Magnifico is Zanni's master.

Harlequino: Harlequino follows Zanni but is said to be the stupid servant.
He is said to be more of a body character.
Harlequino is a happy and jolly character and thinks he is charming.
He is very acrobatic and cheeky

Brighella: Brighella follows Zanni and is a cunning servant.
Brighella is counted as a brain character.
He is the master-servant.
He welcomes guests.
Brighella is a character that was built up over time to get to a high position.
He is a great womanizer and an make people fall in love with him and other people.

The captain: He is quite a swagger and acts cool.
But in real life he is quite scared and tries to avoid fights or even die. So he would risk other people just to save himself.

2nd actor and Second actress: Both are the young lovers. They both are the children of pantalone and the doctor.They have been bought a fantastic education. With their education they could become aristocats. They don't really understand the world test because they are getting use to gown up enviormemts.(For example, the big city.)
