before macbeth kills duncan everything goes into darkness

lady macbeth speaks to the universe when she sees the letter about macbeth becoming king and before she convinces him to kill Duncan.

guilt- regretting killing duncan and all the other people he killed. haunted by regret and guilt.

power- abuse power. uses it too much to the point where things become bad. Lady macbeth sees herself as powerful but she is in fact not. when macbeth becomes hysterical he is not powerful anymore.

ambition- goes to the next levels for their ambition

witches prophecies is a catalyst for macbeth's ambition

Macbeth has power but because he abuses it so much he ends up loosing all his power and becoming weak. Lady Macbeth thinks she has more power than she actually does but she becomes weak, ending in her killing herself
