Ushi-oni
Yokai with an Ox head, and a spider like body, with claws at the end of each of its six legs
Kuchisake-onna
"Slit-Mouthed Woman" - malicious spirit (onryo) of a woman, partially covers her face and carries scissors, a knife or another sharp object.
Kyonshii
Japanese version of the Chinese hopping vampire (Jianshi) - Dresses in official clothes from the Qing Dynasty, moves around by hopping with its arms outstretched, and kills living creatures to absorb their qi (life force), usually at night.
Funayurei
Spirits that have become vengeful ghosts at sea. Said to be the ghosts of people that have died at sea, and try to kill the living to make them join them.

Gashadokuro
Spirit that takes the form of a giant skeleton made of the skulls of people who died in the battlefield, and is 10 or more metres tall. Have protruding eyes, and some describe them as burning yellow or green. Wanders around at 2:00 am and eats humans when it sees them

Four eyed, sword wielding ritual exorcist that leads funeral processions and wards off evil spirits

A type of dangerous sea dragon, some believe to be a deity

Amaterasu-Ōmikami
Goddess of the sun, ancestress of the Imperial Household of Japan. Her name means "Shines from Heaven" or "the great kami who shine Heaven"
Ame-no-Uzume
Normally shortened to Uzume, the goddess of dawn and revelry
Fūjin/Kaze-no-kami
God of wind, one of the oldest Shinto gods, said to have been there when the world was created

God of war, divine protector of Japan and its people
