lab grown diamonds :male-scientist:
High Pressure High Temperature(HPHT) diamonds
they are created using the High pressure high temperature(HPHT) Method which mimicks the high pressure high temperature conditions that form natural diamonds in the Earth. This process produces a distinctively shaped laboratory-grown diamond crystal.
they have a Cuboctohedron shape
Chemical Vapour Deposition(CVD) diamonds
they are created with carbon-rich gas, such as methane, into carbon and hydrogen atoms witch then are deposited on diamond seeds
they have a square tabuliar shape
advantages and disadvantages of each diamond type

disadvantages

natrual diamonds :earth_asia:
natrual diamonds :earth_asia:
created by the earth as long as 3 billion years ago by extreme pressure and high temperature
volcanic activity brought them to the surface where they lay in a type of rock known as kimberlite pipes
only 5% of kimberlite pipes contain enough diamond to make them worth enough money to mine
similarities
they are both made of crystalised carbon
differences
lab grown diamonds are weighed less than a carat while real diamond can be heavier
