Cephas
The Tyrian Ledger
The embodiment of spoiled greed and selfishness. He does not try to sway your decisions, instead he tries to persuade you to buy from him. Some object in his store can be cursed, giving great benefits but at the cost of your Judgement.
Judgement
This is how your decisions are measured, whether you have a good soul or a foul one. Judgement is quick to turn on you as it is easy to lower. Keeping your Judgement high can be difficult as you need to retrieve money for Cephas.
This worlds embodiment of your conscience and of Saint Peter himself. He's here to judge your actions and try to sway you towards the gates of heaven. He will ask for certain quantities of money in which you must supply him.
Cephas' main goal for you is to get him money, the more generous you are, the better. Money can also be used to buy from The Tyrian Ledger, but some of his items are cursed and can drain your Judgement.
Scrap, by default, has a 25% chance of being found inside of most objects in NOD. This scrap is later used to build up your Shrine.
Rooms can be found on stairwells. Rooms can be accessed by either finding keys, or by just opening the door if its unlocked. Rooms can contain more items and money, but taking money can lower your Judgement.
At the start of a run, you have the decision to go up or down the stairs, but choose wisely as you will not be given the chance to turn back.
Stairwells can hold mail boxes, cardboard boxes, purses, trash bags, and coins sprawled throughout it.
Stairwells can also hold doors to rooms in NOD. Sometimes going through rooms is the only way to progress as you must move through the room to get to another stair well.
