Show the final boss of the game, makes the players wonder what the story is about
Story or no story?
Having a story can encourage the players to find out more about the game, which makes them want to play.
Completing the game also makes them feel like they've accomplished something
Having no story in the game makes the game feel more straight-forward, which can save time when people want to play the game
However, it makes the players feel confused about where each character's origins.
Cloud variables
Fastest clear
Having a high score for the fastest clears can make the players feel more competitive and make them want to play more, this makes the game more competitive
This might make the kids feel disappointed that they weren't the fastest, which can make them feel sad after they've completed the game, which also makes my game's rating worse
Points system (Players collect points by defeating enemies and collecting coins)
A points system is less competitive, as it shows how much you've completed the game
