Line
Instead of full sentences, poetry is broken up into lines. Full sentences, phrases or words that convey an idea
Stanza
Groups of lines divided by topics, moods, etc

End-stop
A dash, comma, period at the end of the line, it tells the reader to pause before moving one.
Poetry
Types of poetry:
Lyric: abstract themes like love, death, immortality
Narrative: tells a story, has narrative elements
Free verse: modern poetry, no rhythm, no rhyme
Sound devices:
Rhyme: words that end with the same sound
Rhythm: sound/beat that is regular inside the line
Alliteration: repetition of consonants
Assonance: repetition of vowels
