Adjectives are words that describe or modify nouns or things in the sentence.

Adjectives nearly always appear immediately before the noun or noun phrase that they
modify.
The categories in the following table can be described as follows:

Color
red, black
Size and Shape —
wealthy, large,
Origin
French,
American, Canadian
Observation

Material
woolen, metallic, wooden
Numbers —
adjectives denoting numbers.
Qualifier
passenger car, book cover
Determiners —
articles and other limiters.
Adjectives Types
These are types of adjective:
An interrogative adjective

An indefinite adjective
is similar to an indefinite pronoun
The demonstrative adjectives

Unit 2. Adjectives Degrees (Part A
)
Positive
Adjectives have three degrees of comparison: positive, comparative and superlative.
In other words positive is the first adjective degree.
Comparative
Adjectives of one syllable and some two syllable adjectives -- add -er to comparative.

taller
smaller

superlative
superlative adjective formed with -est
more money
