Proposed solution -
History Down Under
The proposed solution will not only fulfill all the prescribed criteria, but also have additional features. A navigation bar will be included so that the user can easily traverse the website. Additionally, a page called "Your Story" will be included, it will allow the user to easily revisit stories they have previously shared.

User Interface
Home page
This is the page that appears upon the website first being opened. It contains a montage of relevant images.
Login page
Contains a login menu that requires the user to input their username and password.
If the user is already logged in, a "Logout" button will appear.
Register page
The user can input their desired username, password (twice for confirmation), email and phone number to create an account.
Explore page
A menu where a user can select a suburb is opened.
When the user selects a suburb, another menu will appear where the user can select a historic site in that area.
Selecting a site will open a page that has information regarding that site and display stories that users have submitted about that site.
Your Story page
From this page the user can view all the stories they shared. Clicking on one of them will open the page with the site that the selected story is associated with.
Requirements
Prescribed Criteria
The user must be able to search for historical WWII sites they would like to visit.
The user must be able to investigate the history of particular sites.
Allow users to record their own findings or stories for a particular site.
Be accessible on both computers and mobile devices.
The website must interact with a single database.
The website must display live data from the Queensland Government Portal
Include at least one image on each web page.
Feature a responsive web interface.
Self-Determined Criteria
The website must include a navigation bar/
Allow user to have an option to revisit stories they have previously shared all in one place through an easy-to-access menu.

Phil
He has been researching about WWI and WWII.
He wants to visit and photograph historic sites from WWII for a book he is writing.
He is gathering and compiling stories from historic sites around QLD.
Millie
She has been researching her ancestry and wants more information about the locations where her great grandfather fought.
She has stories passed down from her family that she is happy to share.
Claire
She is currently completing a research project on historic WWII sites around the Brisbane area.
She is particularly interesting in medical facilities from WWII.

Users will be able to share personal stories about relatives or experience they've had on the website.

As the website is free to use, the user can save money on buying books and other resources.
