Homeostasis- Self regulating process where an organism can maintain internal stability while adjusting externally

Basal Metabolic Rate- amount of energy per unit that a person needs to keep the body functioning at rest
Set point- how one reacts to majour life events,but adapt back to previous events
Refractory period-Period of time where an organ or cell is not capable of repeating a particular action
James-Lange- Experience of emotion is our awareness of our physiological responses to emotional arousing stimuli
Cannon-Bard -Emotion arousing stimulus triggering a physiological response and a subjective experience of emotion
