What is it about?
The Aging Population is a phenomenon where the median age is older while the amount of young people is decreasing due to declining birth rates.
This often results to a higher number of older people (typically people at the age of 60+ years and older) against younger people in the society (below 40 years old).
The world population is aging, low birth rates in improving healthcare in developed and developing world, it means that people are living longer.
Why does this happen?
Fertility Rates
Specifically, the Fertility Rates. We work so much that we don't have time to mingle, or don't have time to think that having a children is a good idea.
It's expensive to support a family, even just for yourself. That's why people decide to not have kids.
