Short film - Coggle Diagram

        The fireplace will be used as a symbol of how dark the character's mind will be and how far he's willing to go and sacrifice

        He is stuck in a repetitive mindset of constantly wanting to be the best and has an obsessive nature for the role that he will be playing
        
        This is why I want the set design to include circles - I want to use a lot of symbolism within the film
      - Story needs to include unspoken dialogue through eye contact and blocking

        Having a character who is about to offer something to the film move forward into focus
        
        I could deliberately break the rule of thirds in order to show discomfort and the 180 line

        This will mean that I will cut deliberately uncomfortably and cynically to showcase the character's thoughts and feelings
    - - I will block the scenes so that movement ends and another begins so that the film keeps the flow and keeps the tempo - subsequently, keeping the audience on their feet

        I will force the viewers eye to move more or less rapidly based on the tension of the scene
        
        When characters are confused, I could make the audience deliberately confused through editing
        
        This will be done through lack of continuity of cutting and distorted cutting

        This will be a very slow and methodical track because I want the character's mentality to be unravelling throughout the film and the music will represent this
        
        I might deliberately cut off beat of the song to show the discomfort that the character is feeling - Inspired by Whiplash
        
        This will make the audience feel disoriented - I want this as they are confused at why this guy is turning into a pshyco

        The metronome will get faster and faster based on the tension of the characters
        
        I will also visually communicate the metronome
        
        Heartbeat? of the family when they are panicing about the killer

        White noise will help the audience get into the psyche of the protagonist
        
        I could have a very sharp and high piano noise to shock the audience and remind them to not settle
        
        I could have different types of instruments based on the scene and the mood of a particular moment
        
        String instrument like violin/cello. Bowing can create serene and lush sounds, plucking can create sharper and sudden sounds
