Biomes of the world
Tundra
Forest
Grassland
Desert
Rainforest
Aquatic
What is?
A rainforest is an area of tall, mostly evergreen trees and a high amount of rainfall.
Caracteristics
What is?
The rainforest has a lot of fauna and biodiversity. All because of the incredible condition that they have and the conditions that give.
Rainforests help regulate our climate and provide us with everyday products.
The rainforest is in all the places in the world, except in the antarctic.
Deserts are part of a wider class of regions called drylands. This place is known because in the day it is very hot ,but in the night, it is really cold.
Caracteristics
Any environment that is almost completely free of plants is considered desert, including regions too cold to support vegetation.
There are four major types of deserts:
Hot and dry.
Semiarid.
Coastal.
Cold.
What is?
Forest, complex ecological system and natural resource in which trees are the dominant life-form
Caracteristics
Forests can occur wherever the temperatures rise above 10 °C (50 °F)
They can develop under a variety of conditions within these climatic limits, and the kind of soil, plant, and animal life differs according to the extremes of environmental influences.
There are three general types of forest that exist:
Temperate
Tropical
Boreal
What is?
The tundra is located in Antarctica and is mostly snow, except in the summer where they have some outbreaks.
Caracteristics
The tundra has a cold and blowing climate. There are no trees and the precipitation is not common.
This place has a lot of animals that live in here, like the:
Polar beers
Artantic fox
What is?
Is the living and the non-living entities of water bodies constituting diverse ecosystems.
Caracteristics
These bodies of water are widespread and not geographically limited by climate. In fact, the marine biome often dictates climate, creating rain and wind and influencing terrestrial temperatures.
They are of two types:
Marine
Freshwater
Marine life has to be adapted to living in a habitat with a high concentration of salt.
Freshwater habitats are less than 1 percent salt.
What is?
Caracteristics
The grassland biome is made up of large open areas of grasses. They are maintained by grazing animals and frequent fires.
In grassland regions, the climate is ideal for the growth of grasses only. The low precipitation rates are enough to nourish grasses but not enough for a forest of trees.
Exist 2 type of grassland like:
Savannas
Temperate grassland
The savanna is present in areas that have a warm climate with a rainy season and a dry season.
Temperate grassland is known for its rich soil that yields abundant growth of grasses.
Oxen
Gray wolf
Geese
