Never
is a negative term used in affirmative constructions

Ever
is used in questions and it means "at any time"

PRESENT PERFECT AND PAST SIMPLE
WHEN WE USE THE PRESENT PERFECT?
We use the present perfect to talk about a
past situation that relates to the present
. We don't say when it happened because
we don't know the exact time
, or it isn't important.
He's won many musical awards.
We have registered our entry.
ALREADY AND YET
We use already in positive sentences to talk about actions and events that happened before now or earlier than expected.
I have already visited three museums in one week!
Summer has already arrived to Madrid!
We use yet in negative sentences to talk about actions and events happening up to now,
I haven't arrived yet.
She hasn't made a clear decision.
WHEN WE USE THE PAST SIMPLE?
We use the past simple to talk about a
past situation that is now finished
