Density
Solid
Regular
mass
measure on a weighing scale
volume
width x length x height
Irregular
Mass
Weigh in a weighing scale
Volume
Step 1 : Take water in a measuring cylinder. Measure how much water is in the measuring cylinder.
Step 2 : Put you're object in the measuring cylinder. Record the new amount
Step 3 : Measure the before from after and do the formula density = mass/volume
Note :spiral_note_pad:, use a string to put the object in that way no water is lost.
Formula
Solid
Regular
Density = mass(g)/volume(cm3)
Irregular
Density = mass(g)/A(cm3) - B(cm3)
Liquid
Density = A(g) - B(g) / volume(cm3)
🥛🥛🥛
Gas
Density = B(g) - A(g) / volume(cm3)

Liquids
Volume
measure in a measuring cylinder
Mass
Step 1 : Check the mass of the measuring cylinder without any liquid in it.
Step 2 : Check the mass of the measuring cylinder with the liquid in it
Step 3 : Subtract the before weight from the after weight and apply the formula density = mass / volume
Gas
Volume
Step 1 : Take you're round bottom flask and fill water in it.
Step 2 : Pour the water in a measuring cylinder and measure the total amount
Mass
Step 1 : First find the mass of the round -bottomed flask with the gas inside.
Step 2: Attach the flask to a vacuum pump and all the air is extracted. Find the mass.
Step 3 : subtract the after weight from the before weight
