Lack of Quality Education
Parental Support
Without support from parents, many students end up having poor attendance due to having to find their own way to school.
Many students who do not have parental support at home suffer from lack of social skills because they do not have many positive interactions at home.
Grades often suffer in students who do not have support at home, as they do not have anyone to help them do their homework or study.
Parents who aren't involved in their children's school lives often have little to no expectations for them. This often leads to students having low expectations for themselves and not realizing what they truly can accomplish.
Lack of parental support means that usually students are left to figure things out on their own. This often leaves them feeling unheard and unseen. This also can result in behavioral issues and outbursts at school.
Poverty
Many students end up dropping out of school to join the work force. This is especially common in families facing poverty.
Many families in poverty cannot afford transportation for their children to school. This is especially common in those families who are from rural areas and have to take public transportation.
There are many costs that go along with education other than just tuition. Among these are books and uniforms, which could be out of reach for those families that are in poverty.
Health issues affect those living in poverty much more than others. If a parent is facing a chronic disease or illness, they likely can't even afford their medical bills, much less afford to send their child to school.
Lack of Adequate Facilities
Unfunded schools often do not have an environment that is suitable for learning needs. Including broken desks, books, and other resources.
Because these schools are often very large, they must have many different teachers to handle all of the students. This often leads to unqualified teachers being in charge of classrooms.
Oversized classes can disrupt learning, and make it difficult to teach the grade levels the proper criteria.
Many schools cannot afford the technology needed to teach in today's day and age.
A comfortable learning environment including heat and air cannot be provided in many low-funding schools
Inequality
Race is a common inequality that affects education. While it isn't as much of an issue as it used to be, there is still a gap between the performance of caucasian students vs. students of color.
In some countries, certain social classes receive more attention than others. In schools, this would result in certain students being left out of important lessons and criteria solely because of their social class.
Students who suffer from chronic health issues often suffer in school as they miss many days of learning content.
In many countries, still today, gender plays a major role in if you become educated or not. For many countries, males are entitled to an education, while females are told that they should stay home and take care of the house.
Inequality also leads us back to poverty. Many students who are living in poverty are faced with inequality at school as they cannot afford the means to live as other students do.
Gender also plays a role in male education. The dropout rate is much higher for males, and can be linked to low grades and test scores.
Country of Origin plays a large role in quality education as well. Many students who come from poor and underdeveloped countries suffer from lack of education, while students who come from stable and developed countries often achieve proper education.

Low-Income Countries
Many low-income countries are riddled with disease and malnutrition. This results in a lot of children being sick and not receiving proper education.
Low-income countries also often cannot provide a proper learning environment for children due to low-funding in schools.
Because there really isn't a proper education system in many of these countries, there are no proper or "good" teacher, if any teachers at all. Many schools struggle to find teachers at all, let alone quality educators.
There is little to no school management in these countries, as they are often small, overcrowded schoolhouses.
Because there is such low funding in these schools, they often cannot afford the resources necessary for proper education of students. This includes technology, books, and teachers.
