Disorder in Cromer - In September 2017, a number of thefts, criminal damage and anti-social behavior (including rape) were misjudged by the Norfolk Police. The police played down the scale of the crimes to the general public and they stated that it was only low-level disorder. These crimes involved members of the travelling community and the Police recorded 37 crimes in one weekend. Later on, once exposed, the police put out a statement saying that they had misjudged the amount of disorder
